The phycologial lab has established growth rooms and growth chamber for culture of cyanobacteria and microalgae at different scales, and under different environmental conditions. Moreover, we access to Dipartimento di Biologia facilities, as SEM and TEM microscopy, confocal microscopy, flow cytometers, DNA sequencing. A culture collection of cyanobacteria and microalgae used for our current research on molecular evolution, for applied research and educational purposes is housed at our laboratory (see ACUF algal collection).
