ACUF currently maintains over #### strains of microalgae and cyanobacteria. To explore our strain catalogue, click the "Strain Catalogue" button. Most strains are maintained through serial sub-culturing on solid and liquid media. To ensure genetic stability, some strains are cryopreserved, and ongoing research aims to develop protocols to expand the number and diversity of cryopreserved strains within the collection.
