Bulk microalgae cultures
-
Bulk cultures of some microalgae strains maintained at ACUF are available in 500 mL and 1 litre volumes. Bulk cultures are only prepared on request and the time required for the microalgae to grow is at least 6 weeks. Thanks to an agreement with CAISIAL, the Service Centre for food companies based at the University of Naples Federico II (https://caisial.unina.it/en/, key person Dr. Luca Langellotti), it is possible to request large biomasses of selected cyanobacteria and microalgae (Spirulina, Galdieria, Chlorella, Dunaliella, Haematococcus and Scenedesmus).
